A graffiti artist will be arrested for hate crimes and treats for expressing himself about the presidential candidates though art. According to the Union Tribune the person posted stencils about the black president and his Muslim religion. One of the eight stencils found said “down with Obama” so they are now looking at charges of terrorist threats. All the posting are in the San Marcos area so law enforcers believe the person lives in the area. Officials have offered $1000.00 for any leads to the individual’s arrest.
In this mornings newspaper I read about how the ford company is rehiring over 1,000 workers again. To make the best truck they can make. Their going to have their workers work harder than before. They called all the workers they had before, their tryna make the best F-150 truck they have ever seen.. Ford jr announced it yesterday.
I'm kind of excited to see what kind of truck it will be. That their saying that will be the best truck of all.>??
Today in the union tribune I read that a gunman held 11 fifth-graders hostage at an elementary school in Maine but was tackled by a state trooper and taken into custody without any harm to the children. The gunman was identified by police 55-year-old Randall Hofland, a man who fled police last week after pointing a gun at an officer during a traffic stop. Police say that Hofland walked into a classroom Friday morning. The gunman had released the students by the time he was tackled by a state trooper 30 minutes later.
One time at Granger, there was a lock down because there was some guy who robbed the 7-11 down the street and he came to the school. I was in 7th grade so I didn’t care what happened because I was in o class and no one ever goes to o class.
In today's paper there was an article about a Ford rehiring 1000 of there old workers back to build “the best truck that’s ever been built" or also known as the f-150.Why do they need the workers back so bad? Because most businesses are going out of business. Ford thinks they need to keep on building newer and newer cars. Well they have to in order to keep their business running. Chairman William Ford Jr. is also excited about his new truck that should be coming out in the of 2010.
Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about the University in Kentucky student and another man got arrested because they hung an Obama effigy from a tree on the school campus. This was the second month an effigy was found on a collage campus. George Fox University, a small Christian collage in Oregon, recently punished four students who confessed to hanging a likeness of Obama form a tree. They also had found a Halloween Obama effigy with a butcher knife through its neck. The lady who put that Obama was a John McCain said she put up the Obama but later took it off, she said she did not intend anything racist or mean-spirited. I think she’s dumb because she knew exactly what she was doing. Deng people are going crazy with these elections.

Today I read about in the union tribune about ford re hiring 1000 employees to make the best ford truck ever made. Since the ford F-150 has been the nest selling truck for over 3 years. This year they are going to build the best one of all ford history. The fords strategy is to make the best ford F-150 to raise their sales percent. An alternative is to not make the best ford F-150 and save money.
Reflection- I think if they do make the best ford I think it will be a seller
What I read on today’s Union Tribune newspaper for October 31, 2008 was that searchers have found human bones near the crash site of Steve Fossett’s plane, The crash site was located west of Mammoth Lakes in the Sierra Nevada. Not only did they find two large human bones, but they also found Fossett’s tennis shoes, drivers license, and credit cards. They’re not really sure if the bones are Fossett’s, but they’re going to send them to the Department of Justice testing lab. The results should come in by a week. The items that were found had animal bites on them so they supposedly think that an animal dragged him away. Fossett’s widow, Peggy said that discovering the bones was another strategy in finding out the death of Steve. The previous event that happened before Steve died was that he took off from a Nevada Hotel that as owned by Barron Hilton. His take off was supposedly a short pleasure flight. The search of Steve covered at least 20,00o square miles that included the use of infrared technology, and the whole thing cost millions of dollars.
Today I read about a man that was shot and tased and is still listed in critical condition. A 48 year old man who was shot and tasered by Oceanside police on Sunday remains in critical condition. Gregory Kwok hasn’t been charged because he remains unconscious. Police stated in a news release that Kwok had fired a handgun outside his home at least once while officers were in route shortly after 10 am three officers responded initially Police said that Kwok had charged at them when told to go to the ground. During the confrontation police said Kwok grabbed an officers gun and was shot police said he reached for the gun again and was shot and tasered.
Police also shot and killed Kwok’s pitbull.
My Opinion- I think that the PREVIOUS thing the police should have done was come up with an ALTERNATIVE STRATEGY. I don't think it was right that they shot that man and tasered him I think that it is because the police were scared and couldn’t handle it with out using a weapon. I don’t think if they couldn't handle that situation without a gun they shouldn’t be cops.
