Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about a not so POSITIVE article about this time being the next great depression. Now that the economy is slipping and the congress debate over the ESTIMATED $700 billion financial bailout. This article ILLUSTRATES the frightening fact that the economy is slipping out of control. Now is the same as 1929 Americans have borrowed heavily before the crisis, for cars and appliances. And now just like then this inflation and crisis has caught people by surprise. I wonder if things are going to get worse, or if they are going to get better. I wonder which president could get the U.S. out of this crisis.

In today’s news I read about a man sentenced to 85-years-to-life in state penitentiary for murder, kidnapping, and rape. The El Cajon man’s motive for murder were because a homeless man befriended his ex-girlfriend. The man apologized to the homeless’ family for there loss. He said he didn’t know what was happening and his jealously took over. The woman he raped was his ex-girlfriend that broke up with him

Today in the union tribune, I read that A suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, teenager tried to kill his sleeping family by placing homemade chlorine bombs while they slept. Christopher Janney, 16, of South Fayette, Pennsylvania, was charged with attempted homicide for leaving what police described as chlorine compression bombs near the heads of five family members while they were asleep. Janney is being charged as an adult.
He should also be charged with being a retard, why would you try to kill your parents. All we have in the world today is stupid kids.

The article I read in this mornings newspaper was about a man who got 85 years to life in a murder sentence. The man who is identified as Jeremy John Lutz and is only 29 years old, is also being charged with kidnapping and rape after he murdered one of his victims. The man Lutz killed was a homeless man who was identified as Thomas Benjamin. Thomas Benjamin who was 49 at the time of his murder was shot eight times. The reason that Lutz killed Benjamin was because he was jealous that his ex-girlfriend was with Benjamin. Lutz is a very jealous man said the former girlfriend. She said that one time she was outside a liquor store with another friend when Lutz started threatening the man she was speaking too. The former girlfriend testified that after Lutz killed Benjamin he forced her into his car and raped her.
I think that what this guy did is crazy. I am so glad that even though my boyfriend says he isn’t jealous he is but he is not that crazy. I hope that this guy gets what he deserves for being so crude.
An interesting fact that I read was that the man Lutz killed was a homeless.

This morning in the newspaper I read about the major for Tijuana not backing down from the drug cartel war. So far the wars between the drug cartel and Felipe Calderon ,the major of Baja California Norte, the death total has reached the 70s and is expected to rise. Tijuana’s Major, Jorge Ramos said the police force will not stop trying to apprehend the criminals because of fear. Yesterday police show up to a scene where two cartels were apparently in battle. Police heard gun shots but no one was arrested but 10 bodies were found.
Reflection – this war has been going down for a while and every day it just gets worse and worse when is it really going to be over.
