The article I read this morning was about more killings in Tijuana. The article I read this morning was about the violence that has been going on in Tijuana, Mexico. On Saturday there was a shooting near a very famous park called Parque Morelos. The shooting involved the drug cartel gangs. Several dozen bodies have been found in a little more than a week. On Saturday nights shooting there was one dead person and four injured after it was all over. The man who was killed turned out to be a Tijuana police officer. All the violence that is going on in Tijuana has traveled all the way to Rosarito Beach. On Friday night a former police officer of Rosarito Beach was shot to death and a man and a woman turned out injured as well.
I think that all this violence is scary. I have so much family in Tijuana, Mexico. Hopefully everybody that goes to Tijuana or that lives there be careful because these drug cartel gangs are just killing people like if they were ants.
An interesting fact that I read in the article was that the woman that was wounded in Rosarito Beach still remains in the hospital and the man disappeared.
Today in the newspaper I read about how they think the reason why teens get pregnant easier is cause they watch sexual TV shows or movies. Researchers think that’s why teens get sexual active, they tend to watch shows that have sexual active episodes and actors and actress. Teens have been watching more of that then usual. Scientist say. They think its all because of that.
To me I don’t think its because of that. Teens do what they want to do, its not because of what they watch. Some teens just get pregnant cause some don’t know what to do or react. They just do what is in front of them. Cause some teens are not responsible.
Total number of deaths south of the border for the weekend reaches 10. two of the 10 in total were found yesterday decapitated in a part of the city known as Playas De Tijuana. The man and woman found were thought to be in there late 30 to early 40. the heads were found in a bag with a message. The authorities did not release what the message contained. The third body was found in the southern part of the city also wrapped in a plastic bag. Authorities also reported a death by cause a deadly gunshot. The body was identified as Guillermo Ruiz Ponce. Also yesterday morning a body was found nude on a free road to Tecate. The man was also handcuffed with wounds with means he was tortured as-well.
A new study found out that some TV programs are a link to early teen pregnancies. Television shows that features a lot of flirting, necking, discussion of sex, and sex scenes most likely lead for some teens to get pregnant. The new study stated that the more teens watch television with sexual content are more likely to get involved in teen pregnancy. Anita Chandra, a behavioral scientist at the nonpartisan Rand Corp said, “ Watching this kind of sexual content on television is a powerful factor in increasing the likelihood of a teen pregnancy, After decades of the decline of teen pregnancy its starting to rise up again. This is becoming more of a problem this generation. Another thing that Chandra said was, “ Sexual content on television has doubled in the last few years, especially during the period of our research.” There are shows that educates abstinence on sex, but there are no evidence that those programs work. Teens get sexually active after watching something with sexual content, because I think they cant control their hormones. I think that sex education doesn’t really work, but it keeps them aware of the sexually transmitted disease that they might encounter.
More deaths south of the border are announced thought the San Diego union Tribune. The deaths were once again as a result of the cartels fight for the control over the area. A total of nine were killed in Tijuana warehouse. The gunmen rammed into a warehouse and fired more than 100 rounds. This company also has storage facilities in the United States. The men killed were shot while trying to RUN for cover. The gunmen had showed up to kidnap the owners son. Three more bodies were found in a Chevrolet Trailblazer in eastern Tijuana neighborhood. Not only has the death rate in Tijuana increased but the kidnapping numbers also rose significantly.

What I read in today’s Union Tribune newspaper for November 4, 2008 was about a man who was sentenced, because he attacked a couple. On Sept 29, Jared Jacobson was found guilty with two counts of assault which he supposedly used a deadly weapon. Not only that but he was also convicted of allegations of using the knife. The previous event that happened was that the couple, Donald and Caroline Stewart were walking on Fourth Avenue and Washington Street around 10 am in the morning when suddenly Donald heard footsteps and saw a man push past him. After that Jared ran to the man’s wife, Caroline, and started stabbing her. Caroline got stabbed in her kidney and Donald got stabbed two times on his back and under his left arm. After the attack Jared then sat on a curb and watched the couples while they bled in pain. While he was watching them he suddenly began singing to himself then later told the police that the knife went in their bodies like it was butter. Jared wasn’t guilty but he was pleaded with insanity so he was then taken to a mental health facility.
Today in the newspaper I read about how a guy held up traffic, because he was holding a American flag on the freeway. He was holding a gun. But the police found out after his arrest that the gun wasn’t loaded. They also found out that he use to be in the army… the traffic was bad from 7am to 11am when he finally surrendered…
I think that’s crazy of him.. Cause that made a big scene he just wanted attention..
According to the Union Tribune of San Diego the violence in south of the border has finally come to a stop. Sike!! The violence has claimed the life of a state police agent in Tijuana. The officer was killed a yesterday along with two other men. The agent was found shot to death in downtown Tijuana. The body was found across the street from a private school and a block away from a catholic seminary. Officials did not release the names of the two other men found dead in a 2005 Hyundai. In Playas De Tijuana another state agent was found shot and wounded in his pick up truck around 3 o’clock. The man shot in the warehouse was pronounced dead due to his injuries.

What I read on today’s Union Tribune newspaper for November 5, 2008 was that gay couples rushes to marry on Election Day. Why’s that ? They’re getting married, on Election Day just incase Proposition 8 passes. The voice of one of the same sex couples Padilla, quoted, “Who knows what’s going to happen ? I don’t want to take any chances with my rights.” Yadira Padilla and Jessica Luna placed their cell phones on a lectern so family members could listen as they exchanged their vows on Election Day. Another couple got married on Election Day. Tom Hannegan and Donald Smith married on Election Day. They chose Election Day, because they wanted to be legally wed if Proposition 8 passes. The total marriages in the region were 27. While others don’t want to risk it. So far 52% people voted yes on Prop 8 while others voted 48% for no. I think people should vote no on Prop 8. Im not just saying that, because I got some gay friends, but I think individuals have the right to get married to whoever they want to. I know its not right, but like what they said, “equality for all”
Today, this morning I read about how, President Obama began this process last night, in his victory speech, when he noted that restoring the country's health might take more than a term. In the next few weeks, he should go well beyond this. His trying to make a difference like he said he would. He wants to keep his word, when he made that speech. The first day he started what he wanted to do in the beginning.
*I think this could be good and make a big difference. I think people should give him a chance cause he looks like he would make a different to this world. Like he said he would, so he wouldn’t make the mistakes that the other presidents made. I mean the other presidents were good but there was a lot of messed ups.
In the Union Tribune of San Diego, I read about the violence in Tijuana, Baja California. Just yesterday 14 more bodies have been added to the total number of deaths in the past couple months. Out of the 14 found, two were found decapitated. And four others were shot while walking. The first Baja California state agent was killed around 8:30 in the morning while driving his car in a intersection in the eastern parts of the city. The two men decapitated were found near the Otay Mesa border crossing in large plastic barrels with the heads sitting on the top of the container. With the barrels there was a note left. The note read “this is what will happen if you hang out with those filthy Arellano Felix.” it was signed La Mana.
Today in the union tribune I read that Enervated energy drink pitchmen Danny and Wheeler get on the wrong side of the law and are faced with a choice of 30 days in jail or 150 hours of community service with the Sturdy Wings big brother agency. Neither is exactly role model material Wheeler is a party animal obsessed with the ladies, while Danny is careering head on into full blown depression after getting his marching orders from long term girlfriend Beth. Jail doesn't seem out of the question when these Bigs in Sturdy Wings terminology meet their littles Ronnie is a 10 year old with a mouth like Eddie Murphy and an attitude like Mike Tyson. Augie is a tongue tied loner who goes around in a cloak, carrying a foam broadsword, and who lives for a weekly fantasy role-playing tournament. By now you may be thinking the prospect of hard time in the slammer sounds more enjoyable than 90 minutes watching Role Models. And if we're talking about one of those minimum security facilities reserved for Wall Street embezzlers, that's likely true. The role is scarcely more than a vignette, but Lynch somehow contrives to sneak off with yet another Generation XY male bonding movie. Other material is familiar Wheeler and Ronnie get on the same page when the subject turns to breasts; Danny and Augie win their princesses through old-fashioned chivalry.
What I read today in the Union Tribune was about a woman being choked and another woman was threatened by intruder in what police say appears to be a burglary series at an apartment community. The intruder has crept up to sliding glass windows or windows at all hours of day and night. Sometimes when the residents are home, in Chula Vista cash, jewelry, and electronics have been stolen. In one case a woman woke up to find a man atop her, with his hands in her throat. She fought him of and he ran away, In another case a woman heard noise in her bedroom she got up and attacked the man, he made a her a threatening comment. The intruder was Latino, in his mid- to late 20s about 5 feet 8 inches tall. What kind of person would go into a house and steal stuff that’s why people do not feel safe even inside their house. The fact that if his a burglary why wouldn’t he go somewhere else, what if gets inside the wrong house and they kill him in a quickness. That’s not right because their could be little kids inside the house.
The article I read this morning was about the honors that were made for the four Baja agents that were killed in a 36 hour slain. Some of the mourners that were at the honoring ceremony had there 9 mm pistols tucked into their waistbands. Others had a AR-15 assault rifles slung over there shoulders. In the recent months, the uniformed officers are the ones that are being killed most. Three of the four officers that were killed in the 36 hour slain were killed in broad daylight. Their slayings are still under investigation. The agents name were Gerardo Vizais who is actually my uncle, Marco Cárdenas, and Roberto Elizalde. My uncle Gerardo Vizais was the chief of the homicide division. He was shot and killed along with two other civilians on Tuesday while driving through downtown Tijuana.
I hope that all this ends real soon because every body in Tijuana is in danger. Anyone can get killed now in days in Tijuana weather your part of the cartels or if you were just a witness. I feel bad for the other officers family as well because my family is also suffering because of the death of my uncle so I understand there pain.

What I read in today’s Union Tribune newspaper for November 7, 2008 was about banning alcohol in public beaches. Proposition D permanently bans alcohol from city beaches and waterfront parks. This is a serious issue that’s going on today. Since threes a lot of people drinking in public and causing problems. My summarize starts off with the voice of Jim Lantry,” I don’t think there’s an avenue for them.” According to state officials, the ban is going to take affect on labor Day.
In the union tribune I read about the raging violence that is going on in Tijuana, Mexico. Yesterday, Wednesday 14 more people were killed in Tijuana. The Tijuana police were on a high alert because they kept getting calls about bodies that were being found. Two men from the fourteen that were found yesterday had there heads cut off with a hand writing message. There bodies were inside bags with there heads on top as a lid. The message read “this is what will happen to the people that hang out with the filthy Arellano Felix. It was signed by La Maña. La Maña is a term for the mafia. Tijuana is a big mess! I don’t understand why the drug cartels are also killing so many innocent people. I hope that all this violence ends soon because it is really affecting Mexico and San Diego. Refeltion- it was interesting that in the fourteen slain from yesterday two of the them were cops.
