Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about SEQUENCE studies shows that children need more vitamin D. The Nations pediatricians group VERIFY that teens should get double the usually recommended amount of vitamin D because of evidence that may help prevent serious diseases. To meet the new recommendations of 400 units daily millions of children will need to take vitamin D supplements. That includes breast-fed infants even those who get some formula, and many teens who drink little or no milk. I know a lot of people who don’t like milk, but I drink a lot of vitamin D so yeaahhhh.
Today I read about a cab driver that got robbed. A cab driver had picked up a man and a three women from Jack’s La Jolla and drove them to Linda Vista. One of the women began to throw up in his cab and then they stiffed him on the fare and then he was robbed after he confronted them. They were dropped off an apartment complex near Napa and Riley streets at about 1:20 am.
Interesting facts- The man had grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the drivers pocket when he robbed him.
My Opinion- I think that is messed up that he got robbed when he was trying to help them get home. That kind of stuff happens a lot to cab drivers though. This usually happens in a SEQUENCE. The cab driver could not VERIFY who the people were. If he could it would have SIMPLIFIED the problem.
In today’s news I read about more violence south of the border. The violence is once again related to the drug lords in Mexico. Three men were killed at a dining restaurant. Two of the three are said to be buyers of illegal drug from a cartel and selling the drug to another cartel. It is believed that the men sold the drugs to some of the Arellano-Felix Cartel. The two men killed yesterday were dining in a restaurant called Mariscos Negro Durazo when a group of gunmen armed with AK-47s and R-15 automatic weapons entered and identified they two men and killed them. A waiter was also shot and killed.
Today in the union tribune, I read that public schools are going to encourage gays and lesbians in school. They are recommending approval of a gay friendly high school because harassment and violence are causing gay students to skip class and drop out at alarming rates. The reason for this is because gay students are more likely to drop out or skip class which then eventually drop out. They are trying to make high schools harassment free.
I don’t think it’s a bad idea because I don’t go to public school anymore so it won’t affect me none. I don’t encourage or discourage it because I don’t feel like I get to say anything about it because I am not gay
The article I read this morning was about the drug cartel gangs in Tijuana. On Saturday night the federal authorities of Mexico detained 7 men who they assume are from one of the cartels. From the 7 men one of them was a municipal officer. The 7 men were sent to Mexico City for interrogation. The federal agents that captured the 7 men confiscated an arsenal that included AK-47 and R-15 rifles. In that arsenal they also found thousands of shells and uniforms that were reportedly used by gunmen working for a faction. They were working for the Arellano Felix cartel. On the highway nearby where the authorities captured the men they found the body of another man.
I believe that Tijuana Mexico is getting out of control. I hope that all of this violence stops soon because it scares me. I’m afraid that anybody in my family can get kidnapped or killed at any minute.
An interesting fact that I read in the article was that even though some of the cartel suspects are held the killing continues.
Today in the Union Tribute I read that, six minors are in state custody in child porn investigation. After a raid on a ministry run by a man who says “consent is puberty” when it comes to sex. The children are in custody with the Arkansas Department of Human Services as the investigators interviewed them there. Sadler the investigator said that courts would decide the children’s status in the event of any long-term separation from the property of the Tony Alamo Christian in rural Fouke. The kids were 12,13 and 14 year old girls. The poor girls allegation of child pornography and abuse focused on convicted tax evader Tony Alamo and his ministry, described by its critics as a cult.
My opinion: I think whatever this man is trying to do is so wrong and disgusting what is he trying to prove that he's a pervert o dumb retarded guy what the heck. He should be put in jail and be executed he doesn't deserve to live on this earth with a disgusting mind like his ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Today in these current events I read about the SanDiego Chargers in the sport section. The chargers had played an amazing game that Sunday. I was nervous the whole game because the New England Patriots are a very good team. The chargers put all there effort in the game they couldn’t of lost that game because if would have we would have been over. The score Was 30-10 Chargers. Early that game I working in the snack bar cooking hotdogs and making hotdogs ,while I was doing that I had to VERIFY if the Chargers were winning .The manager gave everybody a paper of rules to follow with a very good SEQUENCE. Well the players of the game were Antonio gates and LaDamian Tomlinson they ran lots and lot of yards those players are very important to the chargers . The Chargers had put up a very good fight that was one of the best games so far. Phillip Rivers the Chargers quarter back was doing amazing with throws ,as for Tom Brady he was doing pretty bad he threw a lot of interceptions.
In today’s newspaper I read about more violence in Tijuana, Baja Califas related to drugs. A 14 year-old girl was killed by a gunshot. The battle was between to drug cartels hungry for power. This occurred yesterday in a already poor neighborhood called Colonia De Tres De Octuber south of Downtown Tijuana. A total of ten people were killed in the war yesterday. Another body was found in Colonia La Glorieta. The body was that of police officer Miguel Diaz Alaya. The last out of ten bodies was found in the end of the Tijuana river. The body was not yet identified.
Reflection – I think they militery is going to get in this gang war to try to end it .
