A man who was injured on the I-8 yesterday has been stabilized and is expected to recover. The object that struck and injured hadn’t been identified until this morning. The man was struck in the face by a bullet. Authorities have discovered the man was injured during a road rage incident were one driver cut off the other on the freeway, both drivers began honking and yelling at each other when the driver of a Chrysler Sedan opened fire striking the victim in the face.
My Opinion: In my opinion people should be more careful when arguing on the freeway because they never know what the other driver might do.
My Opinion: I think authorities are failing at their job to secure public safety because more incidents similar to this are becoming very common.
My Opinion: I strongly feel that the authorities need to step up their efforts to prevent events such as this from continuing to occur.

Today in the union tribune, I read is related to the article I read yesterday. Its about a teacher who crossed state lines with a 13 year old boy to have sex wit him. She was sentenced to six years in federal prison, and she states he wasn't even a little boy, he was like a man to me. That’s funny to me, and she also stated age didn’t even matter to them, well at least her. The reason they were caught was because the kid made a phone call to his parents telling them were he was at. What a retard.
I think this story was a funny one because if your going to agree to run away with someone don’t call you’re parents telling them were your at especially if you’re in another country.

In the newspaper this mourning, the media reports the jury still trying to identify what really happened the early mourning of May 24th at about 2 a.m. Pacific Beach resident Sam Bonsu is being charged with murder for punching Nathaniel Ward. The punch is said to be a one in a million hit. Nathaniel died because the punch cracked his skull. Bonsu believe he was in right place because Nathaniel attacked him first so he was doing just swinging back in self-defense. Court believes he was in wrong because they believe no one hits that hard just for self-defense but rather for aggression. If Sam is found guilty he will be facing up to 29 years to life in state penitentiary.

today in the current event that i read was about. homeowners already coping with an uncertain credit market and falling real estates values got more and falling real estates values got more discouraging news from yesterday when PMI mortgage insurance co. said home prices in San Diego are likely to continue dropping for another two years. the firm said it considered 17 of the largest 50 metro areas in the united states to be at high risk at nearly at 90 percent. projected price drops are largely the result of spikes in foreclosure and rising unemployment. of the 50 largest metropolitan statistical areas, 24 have a greater than 10 percent risk that home prices will decline. among those areas, 16 have a risk of greater than 70 percent.

Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read, about SIGNIFICANT studies on HIV, the virus has circulated since 1908. The HIV virus has been IDENTIFIED about 100 years ago, but researches had found that it has been circulating under our radar even longer than they thought. Scientist CONSTRUCTED a “theory” that HIV descended from a chimpanzee virus that jumped to humans in Africa, when people butchered chimps. But I don’t understand why there is so many stories about where HIV and AIDS came from, I seriously think that AIDS is a sickness made to decrease the population because it has been around for so long and they still haven't found a cure for it.

The article I read this morning was about a 15 year old girl that killed her mother. Heather D’Aoust, is the name of the 15 year old girl that beat her mother to death with a hammer. The murder happened on May 25 in Scripps Ranch. Heather was pleaded not guilty. The family of the teen age girl said that she suffers from mental illness. Rebecca D’Aoust was not Heather’s biological mother. Heather was adopted when she was only 3 days old. Heather is being tried as an adult.
I believe that there is a lot of crazy sick people out in the world. I wonder who or what gave Heather the idea to kill her parents. I understand the fact that sometimes our parents can get on our nerves but that doesn’t mean we have to kill them they sacrifice there lives for us even though it might not really seem like it.
An interesting fact that I read in the article was that Heather tried to attack her father as well but he disarmed her.

Today I read about the teen who joined a brawl a couple months ago. Witch his final dissention was to get put on probation for 3 years and perform 100 hours of volunteer work. And to pay in $30,000 to cover the medical expenses of the student he kicked in the head. Under the agreement Perez also must keep a job or enroll in school. If he fails to meet the terms he will be jailed for 180 days. Perez pled guilty sept.8 to a misdemeanor charge of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury. Identified as Sergio Felipe Perez was an on looker during the game Feb. 1 at Otay Ranch High School when a fight broke out and he entered the fracas kicking the head of a student who had already been knocked on the ground. What was the significance of that it was point less.
Reflection- I think that was a good out come for him and a good consequence for his action because he had no reason what so ever to be in the field in the brawl.
