yesterday in San Diego two men, one of whom had a knife; robbed and slashed a 75-year old man on Saturn boulevard near Coronado avenue on Monday night, san Diego pigs said. one robber distracted the man as the other robber walked up from behind the old man and put a Knife around the old mans neck and demanded money, pigs said the man resisted and was cut on his neck and on his hand pigs said.
Today in the union tribune I read that in Seattle, there was a 14 year old girl who was being mistreated by her father and stepmother, she weighed 48 pounds. They are being charged with withholding water for their 14 year old daughter. Jon Porneroy and his wife Rebecca Long, could face up to four years in prison which is not long enough to me, they should be put away longer than four years.
When something like this happens, you got put your self in the person who was tortured and realize how much and how long they had to suffer before they were rescued. If no one had found out what they were doing to her she obviously would have died. It wouldn’t have took long either, she weighed 48 pounds.
The article I read this morning was about the gang cartel violence that is going on in Tijuana, Mexico. The latest report of the most recent victims were yesterday. Authorities found two men dead inside a car while the third survived. A body was also discovered at the edge of the Tijuana river channel. Yesterday Baja California attorney reported 3 more bodies on Monday night. The three bodies were identified as Isabel Guzman Morales who was only 14 years old. The other two were identified as Victor Alfonso Corona who was 17 and Felipe Alejandro Prado Villela who was 19. they were killed in the colonia of Tres De Octubre.
I think that this girl was one of the youngest that they have killed. I feel bad for the parents of this young girl. I think that all that these men are doing is going to end up good as in the Mexican authorities are going to catch every single one of them.
An interesting fact that I read was that minutes after authorities found the three teenagers dead they found another man who was shot to death a few blocks away.
In today’s newspaper I read about more violence in Tijuana, Baja Califas related to drugs. A 14 year-old girl was killed by a gunshot. The battle was between to drug cartels hungry for power. This occurred yesterday in a already poor neighborhood called Colonia De Tres De Octubre south of Downtown Tijuana. A total of ten people were killed in the war yesterday. Another body was found in Colonia La Glorieta. The body was that of police officer Miguel Diaz Alaya. The last out of ten bodies was found in the end of the Tijuana river. The body was not yet identified.
A father and step mother are being tried for mistreatment authorities said. Jon Pomeroy, 43, and his wife Rebecca long, 44, had horribly mistreated there 14 year old daughter. At the age of 14 the young girl waited 48 pounds and was in horrible conditions. the couple are facing up to five years in prison for physical mistreatment. The couple where released on bail late mday after the charges where dropped. The girl was removed from here home and was sent to a faster home. The dative that investigated the case said it was the worse case he had ever seen. The young girl said here father would watch here brush here teeth so she wouldn't drink extra water. The young girl has had six teeth removed from here mouth. The girl s now attending a privet school and has now maid some friends.
My opinions on these article is that the parents have something wrong in there head to do something like what they did to this young girl. The girl didn’t deserve to be treated the way the treated here.
In my current events today I read about Richard Cooey . He was the first inmate to die by lethal injection in the state of Ohio . Richard Cooey is getting executed because of the 2 murders of university students in 1986. He was one of the two people who was executed nation wide yesterday. When Cooey had a chance to talk to the supreme court he had nothing to say he just stayed quite. Cooey was the first immate executed in Ohio since the end of an unoffical on executions that began last year while the U.S supreme court reviewed Kentucky’s lethal in jections. In the east Texas , a former truck repair shop owner convicted of fatally shooting a 22-month-old boy in a spree that also had killed the childs parents was executed last night.
Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about a new law they are making for foster care. For many thousands of America’s foster children, verified prospects for a permanent home and support will be brighter under a new law that bridged Washington’s partisan divide and is touted as the most significant child-welfare reform in decades. The new law simplified use of federal funds to assist children who leave foster care to live as legal guardians, and child welfare agencies to make reasonable efforts to keep siblings together. Reflection - I think this is a real good thing that what they are doing for the kids.
Today in the CNN news today i read, A domestic dispute turned into a double murder-suicide Tuesday morning and a 13-year-old girl is the only survivor.
Police said the triple fatal shooting began around 7:15 a.m. on the city's northwest side at 5051 Winterberry Drive. They received calls around that time reporting a domestic disturbance. Police said the shooter forced his ex-wife into his car. She was able to escape and return to her apartment, but police said the ex-husband forced his way back into her apartment and grabbed both her and her daughter and forced them into his car and drove off.
Police believe the woman was shot and killed in the car near the apartment complex at 59th and Georgetown.
When police spotted the vehicle, the shooter fled with the woman's body and teenager inside, heading south on I-65 to the 21st Street exit with police in pursuit.
A police officer performed at PIT maneuver at 25th and Pennsylvania, bringing the car to a stop. Police said the driver then turned the gun on himself.
The teenager did suffer a blow to her head, but it was not from a gunshot. She is being treated for the injury.
reflection: That is so messed up that little girl had to see her mom die like
that. Dang i feel bad 4 her. LESSON IF YOUR EX IS STOCKING U ITS BEST TO GET AWAY SO HE DOSEN'T KNOW WERE YOUR AT. I HOPE THE LITTLE GIRL RECOVERS WELL AND BE GIVEN OR TAKEN IN BY A GOOD FAMILY
