According to the much accurate cnn.com the violence in Tijuana still has not stopped. More people have been killed this weekend and cops and government officials were found dirty. The federal investigation agency might have found a officer of their own to be leaking information to a drug cartel that knows themselves as the Sinaloa Cartel. The officer has been put on house arrest for the next 40 days. In return for giving the cartel information he was receiving monthly payments. A police commissioner has also been arrested yesterday for unknown reasons. In other violence, six prisoners died and two inmates were injured in a riot early Friday in a prison in the Pacific resort city of Mazatlan, the Televisa television network reported. State authorities gained control of the prison shortly after the uprising. Mazatlan is in Sinaloa state, from which the Sinaloa cartel gets its name.
Today on CNN news I read about the IMPACT that affected the gays when gay marriage was band in California. activists rallied in defiance, including hundreds of protesters outside an Orange County mega church, that has a different church STRUCTURE whose pastor brought Barrack Obama and John McCain together last summer for a "faith forum." About 300 gay-rights advocates fanned out along sidewalks leading to Saddleback Church in Lake Forest to voice their anger of the church's support of Proposition 8, a constitutional amendment approved by voters Tuesday that overturns a state Supreme Court decision in May legalizing same-sex unions. They will continue to PERCEIVE and fight for their rights. This is exactly what I thought about proposition 8, even though it doesn’t pass they are still going to be there.
Today I read about how a 14 year old boy killed his bestfreind for no reason. He wasn’t 14 yet he was 13 at that time he just turned 14. he planned to kill both of his friend for no reason he stabbed one of them in the neck, left to right and a couple more times to make sure he was dead. He couldn’t kill the other friend because he got caught before doing that. He didn’t care about it at all. He did it for no reason. He thought it would be fun. He lead the boy to the bathroom and covered his mouth making it seem like he was going to just show him something. But his plan was to kill both of his friend. While he was doing this the other boy was pleading for him to not kill him. And he lied to him saying I won't if you listen to what I have to say. (that was a lie to the other boy). The cop asked him was there any reason for you to do this to the boy, and the boy said no, I just wanted to do this. He stabbed the boy with a pocket knife.
** I think this boy is very rude and should deserve everything he gets, cause not only did he not care about what he did and he didn’t think it was wrong at all. And what he did was very wrong and he was jus smiling the whole entire time when he was in court, not caring what e did at all. I hope the family can make it through all this, I wouldn’t get over it that easy but I bet the family is being very strong about this…
The article I read this morning was about a young boy who killed his best friend. His name is Michael Hernandez. His best friends name was Jaime Gough. Michael was only 14 years old at the time of the murder, and Jaime was also 14. Michael stabbed Jaime to death. He killed him inside the boys restroom at school. After he killed his best friend he was planning on killing another one of his friends. Michael doesn’t have any idea why he killed Jaime.
I think that this kid Michael is insane. I don’t think he should get locked up I think he should get put in a hospital for mentally challenged people. I hope that this kid doesn’t kill anymore people especially inside the jail.
An interesting fact that I read was that Michael doesn’t even know why he killed Jaime.
What I read today in the CNN News was about the U.S. government estimates the cost of the War on Drugs by calculating the funds used in attempting to control the supply of illegal drugs, in paying government employees involved in waging the war on drugs, and to satisfy rehabilitation costs. This total was estimated by the federal U.S. government's cost report on drug control to be roughly $12.1 billion in 2005. Additionally, in a separate report, the U.S. government reports that the cost of incarcerating drug law offenders was $30.1 billion—$9.1 billion for police protection, $4.5 billion for legal adjudication, and $11.0 billion for state and federal corrections. In total, roughly $45.5 billion was spent in 2005 for these factors. What I think about the cost of drugs is that there are never going to stop no matter how hard they try because theirs always going to be cops and drug smugglers and nobody could do nothing about it. The Factor is that they are not going to give what they are working with or what they work for.

What I read in today’s Union Tribune newspaper for November 10, 2008 was about a dog that died after alerting the owner that the apartment was burning up. The resident of an apartment in La Jolla was taking a shower when suddenly her dog started barking. She then later found out that the couch caught on fire. The women panicked and ran out of her apartment leaving behind her pet. She couldn’t go back in . Sooner or later firefighters found the dog dead.
