Today I read about teen’s that were walking near a park that were shot after a confrontation. Two teenagers were shot yesterday afternoon after being confronted by assailants in a dark sports utility vehicle. They were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. The teens ages 16 and 19 were walking south on D avenue near Plaza Boulevard just after 4 pm with another 19 year old. The driver of the SUV pulled up by them and asked the teens if they wanted a ride when they declined the driver made a u-turn and the passenger fired shots at the teens. The 16 year old was shot in the shin. The 19 year old was shot in the knee. The SUV then headed south.
Interesting Facts- Police say that they do not know the motive for this shooting or weather it was gang related.
My Opinion- IINTERPRET that the boys that were INVOLVED and got shot aren't 100 PERCENT sure who did it. I think that was a dumb reason to shoot someone because they didn’t want a ride.
In today’s Union Tribune newspaper for November 20, 2008 I read that there was a shooting in National City yesterday afternoon. The shooting INVOLVED one female driver and two male passengers injuring two teens. The shooting took place on D avenue near Plaza Boulevard near Kimball Park. The two were rushed to the hospital. According to the assistant National City police, Chief Manuel Rodriguez, the teens were severely injured and the wounds weren't life threatening. Before the scene happened the two teens ages 16 and 19 were walking around D avenue around 4 pm then suddenly an SUV pulled up by them. The driver asked if they wanted a ride. When the teens hesitated, the SUV made a U-turn and fired several shots at the teens. After that the SUV headed out somewhere down South.
In today's paper I had read that two teenagers were shot yesterday afternoon. These teenagers were confronted by a dark shaded SUV. The shots were non fatal. the teenagers were ages from 16 and 19. They were walking south on D avenue near plaza boulevard just after 4 PM. The assailants in the SUV asked the teens if they wanted a ride and they teens had replied no. the SUV had then drove off and then making a u-turn and firing several rounds at them. Thus hitting the younger teen in the shin and the other in the knee. In other news there had been a suspected car thief that ran away from the cops and then diving into a drainage pipe after the chase. What had happened was that he ran a red light and the cops chased him through miramar to la jolla. The driver had then ran over a spike strip over on La Jolla village road. The driver was then pulled over a little after 2:30 a.m. , the man then had ran to the top of a 200 ft. embankment. The suspect then jumped off of it head first.
In the countries news the gays are still trying to get married. The are trying to involve the constitution to say what they want it to say. The proposition that was to legalize traditional marriage was approved in California. The percentage in the vote was close at 54% in favor and 46% against. The gays are saying the prop. only stated towards California constitution and not a amendment. They want to be allowed to wed but the legislation, in order to put the traditional marriage law into a ballot has to have 2/3 of the house votes. The gays are to be heard in a court against the constitution. They don’t interpret that the country doesn’t want them wed.
Today in my morning blog I read about two teenagers who got shot yesterday afternoon. They both were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. The teens were about 16 and 19 years old they were walking on D avenue near plaza boulevard just after 4 p.m. with another 19 year old when the driver in the suv pulled up by them. The was a couple blocks from Kimball park. The people in the SUV came up and asked the teenagers if they wanted ride and they denied them. So the Suv made a u-turn and fired several shots at them. the 19 year old was shot in the leg and the younger teen was shot in the chin. Police say they don’t know if it was gang related or not. The witness had said the shooter did not verbally challenge the youths before he fired the gun. So far there hasn’t been no shooting in national city.
The article I read this morning was about an ex-caretaker who is in trail. Tessie Magan, which is the care-taker who is on trail, is being charged of elder-abuse. Her husband is also being accused as misdemeanor elder-abuse, Tessie is 49 years old. Her husband Donnie Magan is free on his own recognizance. According to the court records Donnie faces up to a year in jail. They are scheduled to be sentenced December 4th. The couple took the elderly to the valley view casino in valley center and left the man inside the car while they gambled. When firefighters rescued the man he was unconscious.
I think that people need to start thinking about leaving people inside cars. I hope that they get what they deserve because that poor man didn’t deserve that. I hope that people learn from there mistakes and other people learn from peoples mistakes.
An interesting fact that I read was that when the elderly man was in the car for an hour and a half.
