Today in the union tribune, the TEXT I read that Prosecutors sought a first-degree murder conviction and could have sent him away for life. Instead, a jury convicted the teacher's husband of reckless homicide, for fatally shooting his wife's student lover. Because of the conviction on a lesser charge, Eric McLean, 33, will likely MAINTAIN probation when he is sentenced November 7. Now he said he just wants to put the trial behind. Eric McLean hopes to see his sons again, follow his dream of becoming a high school band director and no longer worry about how people look at him. Erin McLean, then 29, had been flaunting an affair with Powell for weeks, the court heard. They laughed as the husband called 911 to scare Powell away. With Powell sitting in his old car waiting for Erin McLean to join him, Eric McLean walked up with a 30-caliber rifle to try to get him to leave. Powell grabbed the barrel, McLean jerked back and the gun discharged, McLean testified. The AFFECT is that he has been living in virtual seclusion with his parents since, working each day on a friend's farm and getting home by 6 p.m. for a court-ordered curfew.
There are a lot of stupid teachers always getting in trouble because what they do with students. Even if there not even in the same classroom teachers manage to do something stupid. But its not always the teachers fault, the kid has to get in as much trouble as the teachers because the court swears like the teacher tied him/her up tp a chair and forcefully raped them. Most of the time its not even rape, you cannot rape the willing.
Since 1978 Mexican prison located in Tijuana, Baja California Sur the assassinations of wardens by inmates with firearms has been happening. Yesterday at about 2 p.m. a riot broke out in La Mesa “La Pina” prison. Guards along with prisoners shot rounds of ammunition at each other. Six were reported killed not sure weather they were inmates, guards or both. Another dozen were injured. Inmates began to throw concrete blocks and other dangerous objects at guards. The riots according to inmates they were mistreated and disregarded. They also demanded more visiting time and chances to see people who were not relatives. During the riots the prisoners held signs reading “no more dead” and “the guards are assassins.
Today I read a article in the news paper about a big riot that is maintained a state prison in Baja California called la Mesa State Penitentiary in Tijuana. This riot was made with the guards because the inmates were tierd of being left to die, and because the guards kill and hurt inmates when there's no one around. The red cross officials said that four prisoners had been shot and sent out for treatment. It was unclear who shot them and the prison authorities are refusing to text any information. I wrote about this because I got two uncles in this prison and one of them got affected fatally in this riot by the authorities in that prison.
The article I read this morning was about a riot at prison. In the La Mesa Penitentiary also known as la peni which is located in Tijuana . Six inmates were killed and dozens were injured. Four of the six inmates that were killed were shot to death. The other two were beaten to death. One of them got beaten to death on Saturday by the prisons two commanders and a prison guard. The beating of that inmate was the spark of the riot at the prison. About 2 dozen inmates were injured in the riot.
I believe that Mexican authorities are getting pretty strict now and days. I believe that some of this change in Mexico is good in one way but horrible in another. I hope that they fix all these problems in Mexico.
An interesting fact that I read was that the inmates rioted for 12 hours straight.
In today's news paper I learned that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin electrified the Republican Convention last night, pitching herself as a champion of government reform, mocking Sen. Barack Obama as an elitist and belittling media criticism of her experience.
In a speech that served as her introduction to most of the nation after Sen. John McCain’s surprise decision to pick her as his vice presidential running mate, Palin pitched herself as the product of small-town America and laced her address with sarcastic digs at the Illinois Democrat.
In my opinion I don’t believe anything that the republicans do or say I'm with the democrats, I think Obama should be the next president from the U.S not McCain.
