Last night a man was shot in the head while in his music. The shooting occurred in Linda Vista on Ulric Street near Eastman Street. The shooting was reported at 7:45 p.m. The motive for the shooting is unknown. After the man was shot his vehicle the car continued to move until it crashed into a wall were it continued to go until the friction melted the tires. The suspect was described as a man in his early 20’s and was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt no other information was available.
My Opinion: In my opinion it is sad when people cant even sit in their car because they will get shot.
My Opinion: In my opinion people need to become more aware of their surroundings.

Today in the union tribune, I read that a 19-year-old woman was convicted Friday of murdering her roommate in their University of Arizona dorm room by stabbing her 23 times. Galareka Harrison made no expression as the jury's verdict was read. She was convicted of first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Mia Henderson, a fellow Navajo tribal member from northern Arizona. She was also found guilty of three counts of forgery and one count of identity theft. After court recessed, she gave a wan smile, stood up and put on a black coat before being led out of the courtroom by jailers. Outside court, Henderson's sobbing mother and father huddled with family members. Nearby, Harrison's family also cried as they talked to their daughter's attorney. Prosecutor Rick Unklesbay said the case was one of overwhelming premeditated murder. He said Harrison planned the September 5, 2007, murder for days after Henderson accused her of stealing her student ID charge card, Social Security card, checks and $500 from a bank account.
I think that sucks because what the one girl did to the other. I don’t even want to spell her name because she deserves to serve the rest of her miserable life in prison. I hope bad things happen to her because she doesn’t deserve to be alive.
In today’s paper I learned that congressional Democrats began to set their own terms
yesterday for a plan to rescue the nations financial institutions including greater legislative
oversight of the treasury department more direct assistance for homeowners and limits on the pay of top executive whose firms seek help.
The democrats demands came as treasury secretary Henry Paulson blanked the Sunday talk show to promote the bush administration $700 billion bailout package, emphasize that it was needed not just for wall street but for all Americans.
In my opinion I think that its cool what ever the democrats think its best because I believe the democrats more than the republicans but they are all mixed up and all of the sides have something under water. So you don’t really know who to believe now days.
México's fight against drug cartels has grown an outrages amount. During the independence celebration in Michoacán’s capitol, Morelia an spectacular lights and firecracker festival turned into a deadly grenade attack. In the attack 7 people died and 100 were injured. Some say the attack was kind of like the September 11th attack in the states in some ways. Others believe the attack was a way to hurt the Mexican President Felipe Calderon. Morelia is the presidents hometown and if the president is trying to stop the cartel, the cartel will hurt the president if not directly hurting people he loves. When Calderon announced his fight against drug cartels five heads appeared in a dance hall in Morelia. The U.S. is also lending a hand to Mexico’s war by arresting all in the states who have any connections with the cartels and handing them back to Mexico.
Today I read an article about Sunday, many stations were once again high and dry, almost two weeks after Hurricane Ike hit the Texas coast. Drivers said stations had either long lines or no gas. Oil company officials continue to blame the shortage on Hurricanes Ike and Gustav, as well as people rushing to the pumps. "So you've got this one-two sucker punch on top of low inventory and this ridiculous panic hoarding gas run of last weekend, which was insane and for no reason," said Tex Pitfield, president of Atlanta-based Saraguay Petroleum, which delivers fuel to stations.
My opinion: I think all these gas problems is ridicules trying to use the hurricane as an excuse.
The article I read this morning was about 6 minors that are in state custody. The 6 minors that are under custody by the state are being investigated in a child porn investigation. There was a raid on a ministry run by a man who says that consents is puberty. The state in which this all happened was in Arkansas. The minors are being held in the Arkansas department of human services. The minors are between the ages of 12, 13, and 14 year olds. The seem to all be girls. The leader of this ministry run is 74 years old.
I believe that what this man is doing is wrong. I hope he does some time because consents is puberty is wrong. I hope that these girls didn’t catch anything.
An interesting fact that I read was that the leader was 74 years old.

Today in the Union Tribute I read that, six minors are in state custody in child porn investigation. After a raid on a ministry run by a man who says “consent is puberty” when it comes to sex. The children are in custody with the Arkansas Department of Human Services as the investigators interviewed them there. Sadler the investigator said that courts would decide the children’s status in the event of any long-term separation from the property of the Tony Alamo Christian in rural Fouke. The kids were 12,13 and 14 year old girls. The poor girls allegation of child pornography and abuse focused on convicted tax evader Tony Alamo and his ministry, described by its critics as a cult.
My opinion: I think whatever this man is trying to do is so wrong and disgusting what is he trying to prove that he's a pervert o dumb retarded guy what the heck. He should be put in jail and be executed he doesn't deserve to live on this earth with a disgusting mind like his ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Two people were wounded yesterday in a shooting. The shooting occurred outside an apartment complex on Weitzel Street and Missouri Avenue Sunday night. The shooting was reported shortly before 9:00 p.m. Witnesses stated the seen two men in dark clothing running away consistently from the scene shortly after the shooting happened. When officials arrived at the scene they focused on the shooters and discovered that the victims had been taken to Tri-City Medical Center their names and conditions have yet to be released.
Reflection- Society is pretty crazy and you don’t know what to expect, I feel law enforcement needs to be harder a make its presence known. But I under stand they cant keep everything safe.
