Today in the union tribune, I read that When Susana Trimarco's daughter Marita Veron was 23, she vanished from their hometown in Argentina, a suspected victim of a human trafficking and prostitution ring with links throughout Latin America and Europe. Trimarco, 54, has spent the last 6 ½ years searching for her daughter, often putting herself at risk. While chasing down leads on Marita's whereabouts, she's entered into dark and dangerous brothels and confronted pimps and politicians who, she says, are complicit in her daughter's disappearance. She has won accolades throughout Latin America, Europe and the United States for her work. But Marita is nowhere to be found. On April 3, 2002, Veron left her house in the northern Argentine province of Tucuman early for a doctor's appointment. She was wearing a turquoise shirt, blue jeans and old white sneakers. The investigation that has followed has led police and Trimarco to believe that she was kidnapped and forced into prostitution, either in rural Argentina or Spain. So far, a series of random clues has failed to provide any concrete information on Marita's whereabouts.
I think that’s sad because she was a mother who had family and friends that cared about her. The one who I think took it the most was her mother because she's been searching for almost 7 years and still hasn’t found anything.
Yesterday two girls were stabbed at the Old Town Trolley Station. The girls were both 17 and had just got out of school shortly before the incident. The two girls reportedly were in an argument with the suspect before the incident occurred. As the victims were waiting to board the trolley the suspect stabbed them multiple times. The suspect who is also 17 has been captured. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene the other was taken to the hospital were she is expected to survive. The suspect has been charged with one count of 1st degree Murder and one count of attempted murder. The incident is believed to gang related.
My Opinion: In my opinion this whole incident wouldn’t have happened if the girls wouldn’t have been arguing with the suspect.
My Opinion: If girls want to be gangbanging they should expect events like this to occur.
My Opinion: Although girls should not be gangbanging in the first place the boy had no reason to fighting with girls.
in today’s paper I learned that When Steve and Carole Arends moved into their Chula Vista home in 1979 they noticed a wooden shed in the backyard.
“we thought it just had fire wood,” Carole said. “but my son went in and came out with an armful of rabbits.”
Also inside was a tortoise. The previous owners hadn't said anything about the animals when they sold the house to the Arendses. They had just left them .
In my opinion I think that it is sad that the previous owners just left the animals like that without saying anything . But it is cool that the other family that moved in was happy and decided to take care of the animals and even bought to more I bet the are hard to maintain and it probably affects there home.
Today in the union tribute I read about, two 17 year old females got stabbed at old town trolley station around the time they got out of school around 1:00 and 1:30. after the girl got out of school they hoped on the bus and headed to the trolley. A boy was trying to talk to them on the trolley but they paid no attention to him. Finally their stop came and all three of them got off as the boy pulled out his knife from his pocket stabbing both of the girls. Then he fled to a nearby bus stop as if nothing happened. A women called the police and they arrived shortly and she pointed out who the boy was and the police caught him and he is going to jail for 1st degree murder and is also being charged as an adult. One of the girls died and the other is in critical condition and needs surgery.
My opinion is that that was really messed up and the boy should be executed.
19 more killed in riots of La Mesa prison Tijuana, Baja California Norte. Another riot broke out yesterday adding deaths to the seven deaths from Sunday’s riots. The riot this time was cause by the facilities’ poor treatment after treatment after the first riot. The prisoners say the prison guards feed the spoiled food on Monday and on Tuesday they left them without water. At about 4 o’ clock the Secretary of Public Safety of Baja California Norte said “The penitentiary is completely under control.” among the 8100 prisoners 256 are American citizen. Most of the inmates are there awaiting or undergoing trial or have not been sentenced yet. After being sentenced they are sent to a newer facility like “el hongo” between Mexicali and Tecate. Sometime to get a court date you have to wait for months because court dockets are so overcrowded.
Today I read an article about Two people were stabbed and the possible attacker has been detained at the trolley station in Old Town this afternoon, according to San Diego police. Officers were called to the station on Taylor Street just before 1 p.m., said San Diego police spokeswoman Monica Munoz. The bus stop has been shut down as police question several witnesses, Munoz said. Gang detectives have been called to the scene, according to police. Police are reporting one person dead, and homicide detectives are responding to the scene to investigate.
I think that these is sad just going to a trolley station and someone gets stabbed that’s why you have to be aware of were your at and whats going on.

Today I read about 2 girls there were stabbed yesterday. 2 girls got out of school who are friends left school and boarded a city bus in Linda Vista en route to the Old Town trolley station on Taylor Street. On the bus they argued with the a boy reasons that were unknown. The affect after the bus was the three got off the bus at the Old Town trolley station the boy took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed the girls then fled to a waiting south bound trolley. The girls were taken to the hospital to maintain their conditions till they go to the hospital. one was pronounced dead about 1:30 p.m. The other had surgery and is expected to survive.
Reflection- that sucks that a man would do that to a girl. It think there are crazy people out there that you just never know what there going to do if u keep arguing with them.

Today I read a article in the news paper about two 17 year old girls that were stabbed by a boy in old town write as they got out of school. The boy was 17 years old too and he is going to be maintained juvenile hall on a account of first degree murder and a attempted murder. The two girls were in the trolley with the boy and they were texting with him and just after all three of them got of in the old town trolley station, the boy took out a knife and affected the girls in the chest, and then he rushed out of the trolley station but some girl pointed them out and the police caught them write by the area. And now the boy is going to be in the juvenile hall and he's going be charged as an adult but hope fully he doesn't.
