In the region section in today's news paper spoke about the Del Mar Fairgrounds banning the reggae concerts because of pot smokers. Judi Strange believes if QUALCOMM and Petco park are smoke free why isn’t Del Mar? Tuesday’s fairgrounds meeting she brought up the reason of why pot smoking at the grounds is allowed. Parents complained that at Ziggy Marley's concert plenty of “kids” were seen smoking marijuana. Banning smoking would include pat downs at events on the fairground. San Diego has the largest reggae community outside of Jamaica.
NEW YORK – Relatives of victims killed at the World Trade Center arrived at dawn Thursday for ceremonies that will commemorate the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and bring both presidential candidates to ground zero later in the day. Moments of silence were planned to mark the times that two hijacked jetliners crashed into the twin towers, along with the moments that the buildings collapsed. Services were also to be held in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon, where a new memorial will be dedicated.
Its not a tidy anniversary this year. Seven years between that awful day and this Sept.11, the terrorist attacks linger somewhere between the immediate, a conscious part of our days, and the comfortable remove of the distance past. No longer yesterday and not yet history.
In my opinion I believe that it must be sad for all those people living that story hopefully they can all one day have peace I have derive that it will one day happen for now I send the best to all that are in new York that had a bad experience on sept.11.
The article I read this morning was about a man who was pleaded not guilty on killing his estranged wife. Henry Lisowski, who is 67 was arrested last week at his home. Prosecutors think that Henry killed his wife Rosa Lisowski who is 50 years old. Prosecutors also believe that Henry killed Rosa and then disposed her body in a trash bin. Rosa was last seen March 24 when she was seen walking one of her sons to school. Henry and Rosa were going through a divorce and child custody battle. The deputy district believe that Henry killed Rosa because starting on April 1st he was going to have to pay Rosa $1,110 a month. The reason they arrested Henry was because police detectives found blood in his kitchen and his Lexus SUV.
I believe that this man should have the right to give an explanation especially since the body hasn’t even been found. I mean finding blood and all could mean a lot of things. Even though Henry had threatened his wife it might not mean anything he had to think about his children first.
An interesting fact that I read was that Rosa’s body has not been recovered.
Today in the union tribune, I read that A teenager was arrested for investigation of four counts of murder Wednesday in the killings of a woman and three girls whose bodies were found in a burning house. Bail for Corey King was set at $1 million. Authorities had called King, 18, of Altadena, an associate or friend of the victims when he was brought in for questioning Tuesday. Los Angeles County firefighters found the victims' in different rooms of their burning house on Tuesday. The victims showed signs of significant visible trauma not associated with the fire. Just one of the bodies had been positively identified. The other three were severely burned and could take days to identify. None of the victims' names were released. They were sweet little girls, neighbor Margaret Lett told the Antelope Valley Press. Nelson said the woman's car, with one window smashed, was found in the parking lot of a nearby Wal-Mart store. Investigators believe the parking lot is a secondary crime scene connected with the homicides.
Today I read a article in the news paper about 67 year old man from ocean beach who is being accused for killing his wife and for disposing her body in a trash can. He is pleading not guilty for that murder charge. He was arrested last week at his home on West Point Loma Boulevard after police received new information about the case. But now he is being held with out a bail until the judge says what's going to happen with him or how is he going to get sentenced. His wife was last seen march 24 when she walked one of her sons to Bernard Elementary school. The reason why they think that he is guilty is because they were going through a divorce and child custody battle in court. He was also placed on child support and ordered to pay $1,100 a month or he would be arrested. Well I think that it was him but if it was him I think that he had his reasons to do it because of all the drama that he was going threw he got really stressed out.
