Last night in Otay Mesa three men kidnapped, robbed, and car-jacked a motorist at a McDonalds at Palm Avenue and Interstate 805. The men attempted to take him to Chula Vista but the man was fortunate enough to escape. According to the statements taken by police the victim said he was approached by the suspects twenty minutes earlier in the parking lot of the McDonalds. As the suspects approached him one told him to get into the back seat while two other men walked up with pistols. The victim was taken to Chula Vista were the men attempted to put him in another car when the man jumped out and ran. As the man ran they began to open fire. Luckily for the victim the rounds that were fired missed.
My Opinion: In my opinion it is sad that people cant even eat places without fearing of being robbed.
My Opinion: The man was lucky he got away and didn’t get shot.
My Opinion: In my opinion people should not put themselves in positions were they could get robbed or hurt.

Riots in Tijuana's prison are a result of a number of things, from abuse, to murder, and overpopulation. For a number of years the prison have been known to obtain guns easily. Inmates who are known to be aggressive with guns and angered, do not mix well. During the past years the wardens along with prisoners have been committing murders three of the six killed yesterday were guards who were known around the prison to kill or have killed in the past. Saturday an inmate was found dead and the guards denied wanting to do anything about it. The inmates were disturbed by the guards ignorance. La Mesa prison was designed to hold 5000 but was as of the time of the riot holding 8100 inmates and family members. At one point 600 family members out of the 1200 who daily visit were being held hostage. At the last total number of deaths that were given was 16 with 13 died in the city general hospital. The types of wounds involve knife wounds, gunfire wounds, and burns.

Today in the union tribune, the TEXT I read that Police arrested rapper-producer Kanye West on Thursday morning at Los Angeles International Airport on felony vandalism charges after an altercation with two paparazzi. The incident near the airport's Terminal 4 involved the rap star, his road manager and bodyguard, Don Crowley, and a photographer and a cameraman who were taking their photos. The cameras of the paparazzi were AFFECTED in the altercation. West, 31, and Crowley were both arrested on charges of felony vandalism. Initial police reports that said Crowley also had been charged with battery were incorrect. West was released later Thursday after posting $20,000 bond, according to Los Angeles police Officer Julianne Sohn. West, a 10-time Grammy winner, and Crowley were in the airport to catch a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii. The pair were MAINTAINED outside passenger security screening when the incident took place. Both men were taken to a Los Angeles police station for booking. Neither of the paparazzi were identified.
I think that Kanye doesn’t deserve to go to jail because why does the Paparazzi have to harass super stars the way they do. That gets really annoying just hearing about it and someone finally someone does something about it and he gets arrested. I know the paparazzi got what they deserved. That is exactly like stalking someone and the police doesn’t do anything about it, that’s stupid.

The article I read this morning was about a man who prosecutors won’t pursue execution in a slaying that happened in 2006. 24 year old, Dennis Potts if sentence will face life in prison without parole. He is charged with the deaths of 22 year old Tori Vienneau and there 10 month old son. The 10 month old babies name was Dean Springstube. Potts agreed to take a mail-in paternity test in June 2006. Potts pleaded not guilty and his friend Maxwell Corn also faces trail on one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. Maxwell Corn is also 24 years old. He helped Potts make a fake DNA test where it said that he did not father Tori’s 10 month old son.
I believe that this man is crazy. I hope he gets what he deserves. I can’t imagine how he had the guts to kill a poor innocent baby.
An interesting fact that I read was that the real paternity test said he was the father of the 10 month old baby.

In today's news paper I learned The 10 month state investigation in to three wild fires that scarred San Diego County last year has prompted new concerns over potential safety hazards across the electricity grid.
the investigation report, released this week by the California public utilities commission, raised alarm over the discovery of a number of broken lashing wires identical to the Cox communication wire found to have ignited the deadly guejito fire.
At the same time, regulators are increasingly worried about the volume of cables, antennas and other telecommunications
in my opinion I have derive about this safety issue about fires but we have to analyze the problem were it could come from etc.. And examine were have they starded and why.
